Giveaway Picker

Pick the winner on stream instead of off screen. Every entrant becomes a wrestler, extra entries get extra odds, and the last one standing wins. One link replays the same winner for anyone who asks.

Every entrant is a wrestler. The last one standing takes the prize.

Most giveaways end with a wheel spun off camera or a name read out from a giveaway generator nobody in chat can see. Then someone who did not win asks whether it was rigged. A pick the audience watches happen, and can replay afterwards, answers that before it gets asked. It also turns a 3-second moment into a few minutes of stream your chat actually stays for.

What this giveaway picker does

It is a random draw your audience can watch. You paste in the entrants. Each one enters the ring as a pixel-art wrestler, they brawl, and they get tossed out one at a time until one is left. That one wins. Runner-up and third place fall out of the same match if you have more than one prize.

The winner is decided before the bell, by a seeded draw keyed to the match's own ID, and the ID is in the link. Open the link on stream, in Discord or on a phone a week later and it plays the same match with the same winner every time.

How to run a giveaway on stream

1

Enter the entrants

Type or paste the names, 2 to 32. Usernames are fine.

2

Weight the entries

Optional. Subs, boosters or anyone with bonus entries get more balls and better odds.

3

Run it on stream

Screen share the match. Chat watches the eliminations and the winner is the last one standing.

4

Post the link

Drop it in chat or Discord. Anyone can replay the same match and check the entry counts.

Pick a Winner

Extra entries, extra odds

Plenty of giveaways reward loyalty: a sub gets 2 entries, a gifted sub gets 5, a Discord booster gets 3. The usual workaround is pasting the same name several times into a list. Here each entrant gets a ball count instead, and the draw treats the balls like tickets in a hat. 5 balls is 5 times the odds of 1, and nobody is promised anything.

A 6-person giveaway, 14 entries:

EntrantEntriesOdds of winning
GiftedSubGuy535.7%
ModOfTheMonth321.4%
NightOwlViewer214.3%
FirstTimeChatter214.3%
LurkerSupreme17.1%
BackseatGamer17.1%

Every entry count is printed next to the entrant's name on the result, before and after the match. If everyone gets one entry, leave the weighting off and it is a straight even draw.

Where it works

Use it as a raffle picker or prize draw

A raffle is a giveaway where some people hold more tickets than others, which is exactly what the weighting is for. Enter each person once and give them a ball for every ticket they bought. Someone with 10 tickets has 10 times the odds of someone with 1, and the ticket counts sit next to every name on the result.

Raffles often run past 32 tickets, so the cap is per person, not per ticket. 32 people holding 400 tickets between them is one match.

Schedule the giveaway with a countdown

Announce the draw before it happens and share the link days or weeks ahead. Set a date and time when you build the match and the link opens on a countdown instead. Anyone who clicks it early sees the clock, every entrant with their wrestler and their entry count, and a note that the winner is already locked in. When the clock hits zero the match starts for everyone who has the link open, at the same moment.

Post the countdown link in Discord or your stories when entries close, tell people the winner is picked Sunday at 7, and let them add it to their calendar from the countdown page. Viewers who cannot make the stream still see the pick live, and anyone who misses it can replay the same match.

Why your chat can trust the result

A giveaway falls apart when the person running it could have run it again. Here the winner is fixed the moment the link exists. Refreshing does nothing, opening it later shows the same match, and the entry counts are on the result. Nobody can quietly reroll it until a friend's name comes up.

Straight answer on the limits: this is a public commitment, not a cryptographic proof. The match is created when you build it, so the strongest version is building it live on stream with chat watching. What it removes is the private reroll, which is the one nobody can see.

What it does not do

It does not connect to your accounts. For an Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or Twitch comment giveaway, copy the commenters' usernames and paste them in, one per line. If someone earned extra entries by tagging friends or commenting more than once, give them more balls instead of pasting their name twice. There is no automatic comment import, so a giveaway with thousands of comments is easier with a comment picker, or with a shortlist pulled first and the final 32 settled in the ring.

A match holds 2 to 32 entrants. For a bigger giveaway, a common move is to pull a shortlist of finalists first and settle the final 32 or fewer in the ring. It also does not ship the prize, check eligibility or collect entries for you. It picks the winner in a way everyone can see.

Plans for streamers and communities

Picking a winner is free and stays free. The plans are for the channel that runs a giveaway every week.

The apron is the band across the front of the ring. It is on screen for the whole match, which is exactly where a channel name belongs. Details on the plans page.

Running card breaks instead? The card break randomizer covers break order, pick order and razzes with the same weighting.

Giveaway picker FAQ

What is a giveaway picker?

A tool that picks a winner at random from the people who entered. This one runs the pick as a short wrestling match your audience can watch, and the result is locked into one link anyone can replay.

How do I pick a giveaway winner on Twitch or YouTube?

Paste the entrants, weight the entries if you want to, and screen share the match. The last one standing wins. Post the link in chat so anyone can replay it.

Can some entrants have more entries than others?

Yes. Give each entrant a ball count equal to their entries. 3 entries is 3 times the odds of 1, nothing is guaranteed, and every count is printed on the result.

Can I use it for an Instagram or YouTube comment giveaway?

Yes. Copy the commenters' usernames and paste them in, one per line, up to 32. Give anyone with extra entries more balls. It does not pull comments automatically, so for thousands of comments shortlist the finalists first.

How many entrants can it handle?

2 to 32 per match. For a bigger giveaway, draw a shortlist of finalists with your usual tool and settle the final 32 or fewer in the ring.

Can I use it as a raffle picker?

Yes. Enter each person once and give them a ball for every ticket they hold. 10 tickets is 10 times the odds of 1, and every ticket count is printed on the result. Up to 32 people, any number of tickets.

Does it work for a prize draw or lucky draw?

Yes. Office prize draws, charity raffles and event lucky draws all work the same way: enter the names, weight the tickets if some people have more, and run it on a screen everyone can see.

Can I give out more than one prize?

Yes. The match produces a full finishing order, so the last one standing takes first prize, the runner-up second, and so on.

Can I schedule the giveaway for a set time?

Yes. Pick a date and time when you build it, and share the link as far ahead as you like. The link shows a countdown with every entrant and entry count, then starts the match at that moment for everyone who has it open. Viewers can add it to their calendar from the countdown page.

Can viewers check the winner was not rigged?

Yes. The winner comes from a seeded draw fixed the moment the link exists. Refreshing never rerolls it, and anyone with the link sees the same match and the same winner.

Can I put my channel name on the ring?

Yes, on Unlimited. The band across the front of the ring carries your channel name or logo on every match and replay you share.

Is it free?

Yes. Entering names, weighting entries, running the match and sharing the link are free with no account. A plan adds saving your regulars for reload (One League, $19 a year) and your channel name or logo on the ring apron (Unlimited, $39 a year).
