Every team in your league becomes a wrestler. In a classic Rumble they enter the ring one at a time; pick All In Brawl instead and everyone starts in there at once. Either way the last one standing takes the first overall pick, second-to-last eliminated picks second, on down to the first team eliminated, who picks last.
Building the roster takes about a minute. Type the team names in, paste your whole list at once, or import straight from Sleeper, Yahoo Fantasy, or ESPN. Then you get one link. Drop it in the league chat and every owner watches the same match and lands on the same final draft order.

Most ways of picking a draft order come down to trusting the commissioner. A spreadsheet formula, a shuffled list of names, a random number site: they all produce a result that exactly one person watched happen.
This one locks the result into the link. The order is drawn by a seeded generator keyed to that match's unique ID, so it is genuinely unpredictable the first time it runs and permanently fixed afterwards. Refreshing does not reroll it. Opening it on someone else's phone does not change it. Nobody can quietly run it twenty times until they land at number one.
Anything that did influence the order gets disclosed on the results screen. If weighted odds were used, each team's lottery ball count sits next to their name. If a team was locked to a finishing position, that placement is badged. Nothing about how the order was decided is hidden from the league.
Plenty of commissioners use it as a draft order simulator first. Start a match with placeholder names, watch it play out, and see how the reveal will land before anything counts.
Nothing carries between matches, so your practice runs never touch the real one. When you are ready, build the real roster and generate a fresh link.
You can also schedule the reveal for a future date and time and share the link ahead of it. The whole league gets a synchronized countdown and the match plays out together at the moment you picked, which beats twelve people asking whether it started yet.
Most leagues running a Draft Rumble are fantasy football. The generator handles anything from a two-team head to head up to a 32-team monster, with 12 as the default, so standard, superflex, and deep dynasty rosters all fit.
It is not football only, though. The draw itself is sport agnostic, so basketball, baseball, hockey, and auction leagues work exactly the same way. There are dedicated pages for fantasy basketball draft order and fantasy hockey draft order if you want the specifics.
It also works for things that are not drafts at all: prize ordering, deciding who buys the first round, or settling whatever argument has been running in the group chat since June. There are more fun ways to pick a draft order if you want to see the alternatives first.
Straight random is the right call for most redraft leagues. Everyone starts level, nobody has a claim on the top pick, and the rumble sorts it out.
Keeper and dynasty leagues often want something closer to the NBA lottery, where last season's worst team gets better odds without simply being handed first overall. Weighted mode does that. Give each team a number of lottery balls and win probability scales with the count, so a team holding 200 balls is favoured over one holding 25, but the team with 25 can still pull it off. That uncertainty is the entire point of a lottery.
It stays off unless you switch it on, and when it is on the ball counts appear in the final standings, so nobody has to take your word for what the odds were.
Yes. Running a match and sharing the result are free for every league, with no account needed. Paid plans only add saved leagues, custom wrestlers, and match history.

Use a clear front-facing photo, the exact wrestler name you want in the game, and a short description of the gimmick or outfit. If you’re signed in, we’ll prefill your email to make the request form faster.
Good reference photos make a big difference. If the source photo is blurry, dark, heavily cropped, or blocked by sunglasses, hats, or microphones, the sprite will inherit those problems.
We review the request manually, build the pack, QA it against the live roster, and then grant it to your account so it appears in your wrestler picker during match setup.
Custom wrestler requests are fulfilled manually, so the page collects the request and account details cleanly, but delivery is not instant.
Every league member becomes a wrestler in a Draft Rumble simulation. Wrestlers enter the ring one at a time and fight until only one is left. The winner is your league's #1 overall draft pick, the second-to-last eliminated gets pick #2, and so on down the order. The first wrestler eliminated picks last.
Nobody can rig it in secret. By default the match outcome is deterministically random: it's driven by a seeded pseudo-random number generator (Mulberry32), and the seed comes from the unique matchId in your share link. So the result is unpredictable until the match plays out, but it's identical for every viewer of the same link. No one can "re-roll" by refreshing. The features that can influence the order, Weighted Mode and pre-set positions, are disclosed in the final standings, so the league always sees exactly what was in play. Unlimited members can also set the entrance order, but that changes the show rather than the result: the finishing order is drawn at random before the match, whatever order people walk out in, and the standings say when it was used.
What's random per match: entry order, who attacks whom, which move is chosen, who gets eliminated each round, and where wrestlers spawn on the mat.
No, the match is balanced so that entry order doesn't determine the outcome. Wrestlers who enter early get more stamina (a bigger health bar) to compensate for the extra time they spend in the ring taking hits. The first entrant starts with roughly double the health of the last entrant. So while a late entrant arrives fresh, they can be knocked out faster. An early entrant takes more punishment but is harder to eliminate. You'll see this reflected in the health bar sizes during the match.
Weighted Mode is an optional toggle (off by default) that lets you give each wrestler a number of "lottery balls," exactly like the NBA draft lottery. The win probability is then proportional to balls. If three teams have 75, 20, and 5 balls, those teams win 75%, 20%, and 5% of the time respectively across all possible matchIds.
Under the hood, a "destined winner" is picked up front via a balls-weighted lottery and protected from elimination. Lower placements still correlate with ball counts: wrestlers with fewer balls are more likely to be eliminated early, while higher-ball wrestlers tend to last longer.
This is great for keeper leagues where last place from last season should get better odds, or for any league that wants to weight the draft order by record, points scored, or any other criteria.
For transparency, when Weighted Mode is on each wrestler's ball count is shown as a little lottery ball next to their name in the final standings, so everyone can see the odds that were used.
Yes! Unlimited plan members can lock any wrestler to a specific finishing spot before generating the match. In Match Setup, open Commissioner Controls (it sits just under your team list, above Weighted Mode), tick Pre-set finishing positions, then tap the 🔒 next to any team and pick their spot: 1st place (winner), 2nd, 3rd, and so on.
The match still runs as a full Draft Rumble with everyone fighting, but the outcome is guaranteed to honor your locked positions. Everyone else finishes in a random order around them. If you lock multiple teams, each gets their designated spot and the rest fill in randomly.
This is useful for commissioning rematches, giving a specific team the top pick for narrative reasons, or running a "wild card" format where one slot is pre-determined. You can't lock two teams to the same position; the app will flag the conflict before generating.
So locks are never secret, any pre-set placement is clearly badged 🔒 pre-set next to that team in the final standings, so the whole league can see which spots were decided in advance.
Yes. In Match Setup, open Commissioner Controls just under your team list, tick Set the entrance order, then tap teams in the order you want them to come out. Any team you skip enters at a random point, so a partial order is fine.
This changes the show, not the result. The finishing order is drawn at random before the match starts, so walking out last is worth nothing: every team has exactly the same chance of the top pick whatever order you put them in. The results screen says the entrance order was set, and says the finishing order was still random, so your league can see both.
It is great for running entrances in reverse standings order from last season, saving a rival for last, or just building up to a big reveal. One thing to know: wrestlers get extra stamina in this mode so that the draft order stays fair, which makes the match run a bit longer and sets a slightly higher minimum if you also pick a custom match length.
Yes. The full match configuration (members, scheduled time, weighted balls, etc.) is encoded directly in the URL after the #. The match is a pure function of the matchId, so anyone opening the link sees the same wrestlers enter in the same order, attack in the same way, and finish in the same standings. You can run a draft over Zoom and trust that everyone sees the same champion.
Transparency is the whole point of the tool. Three things make every result trustworthy for your league:
One link, one result, for everyone. The outcome is locked into the share link itself. Every person who opens it sees the exact same match and the exact same final order, and no one can re-roll by refreshing or reopening it. Once you share the link, the result is set in stone, just like a real draft lottery.
You can schedule the reveal for later. Instead of starting right away, pick a future date and time in Match Setup and share that link with your league ahead of time. Everyone who opens it sees a synchronized countdown to the same moment, then the match plays out together at the scheduled time. Great for building hype before a draft night without anyone peeking early.

Three ways, and all of them are free. You can type each team name into the roster, you can hit Paste a List and drop in the whole roster at once (one name per line, and a copied table from Yahoo, ESPN or Sleeper works too, extra columns and all), or you can import straight from your platform.
To import, pick Sleeper, Yahoo Fantasy, or ESPN Fantasy from the chooser and paste your league URL (or just the league ID). The app pulls your team names directly from the platform's API and pre-fills the roster. Sleeper needs no login. Yahoo uses a one-tap OAuth sign-in. ESPN public leagues need only the URL; private leagues additionally need your SWID and espn_s2 cookies, which the in-app instructions walk you through.

Absolutely. At its core, Fantasy Draft Rumble is just a dramatic, fair, and committed random picker. Anything you'd normally settle with a coin flip or a dice roll works here, and it's a lot more entertaining.
Some popular non-sports uses: picking where to eat dinner (type in the restaurant names), settling a movie night standoff (put in 3–4 options and let the Rumble decide), or resolving any argument where someone needs to "win" and everyone needs to feel like it was fair. Works great with kids too; no one can accuse the app of playing favorites.

By default the match auto-paces to a quick, punchy length, usually 2 to 5 minutes depending on team count. We recommend leaving it there for most leagues.
If you want a longer, more dramatic event (great for streaming on Discord or Zoom), tick Set a custom match length in Match Setup and pick how long you want it to run. We stretch the match by giving every wrestler more stamina, so each one takes more hits before going over the top rope, plus a slightly slower entrance pace. The action stays fast the whole time; the match just lasts longer. Each wrestler's HP is scaled automatically to land on the length you pick.
The available range depends on how many wrestlers are in the match. Smaller leagues are both shorter and capped lower, because with only a handful of wrestlers there isn't enough fighting to fill a long match without the action thinning out. A 2-team head-to-head runs well under 3 minutes; a 6-team match tops out around 5 minutes; a 10-team around 10; and 14 or more wrestlers can run the full 15 minutes. The slider's range updates automatically as you change the team count.
32 wrestlers. Default is 12 (standard fantasy league size). Minimum is 2 (head-to-head). The simulation scales smoothly across the range.
Sort of. The whole point of the share link is that the result is committed once you share it, and that's what makes it a fair draft tool. But if you haven't shared yet, you can regenerate a new matchId in the setup screen and try again. Once the link is out, it's locked in like a real Draft Rumble.
For anonymous users: no. Your roster is encoded directly into the share URL. Nothing is sent to a server, and the match runs entirely in your browser.
For paid members: yes, by design. Your saved leagues, match history, and vanity handle are stored securely in our database so you can reload your roster next season and replay past matches. You can delete your leagues at any time from the My Leagues tab.

One of the most underrated uses for Fantasy Draft Rumble: run it before draft day so your league knows the order in advance. When everyone has their draft spot ahead of time, they can research the right tier of players to target, prep multiple boards based on where they land, and show up on draft day ready, not scrambling.
This is especially powerful in leagues that allow pre-draft trading. Once the order is set, draft picks become tradeable assets. Team A knows they're picking 2nd overall and wants to move down for extra picks? Team B sitting at 8th wants to buy their way into the top 3? The Rumble gives every spot a real value the moment it's decided, turning the weeks before your draft into a mini trade market.

Fantasy Draft Rumble ("we," "us") is a free, browser-based fantasy draft order generator and randomizer. We are built to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we do and don't collect.
Anonymous play: nothing is stored on our servers. Your roster and match settings are encoded directly into the share link's URL, and the match runs entirely in your browser.
Analytics: we use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) to count page views and feature usage (e.g. how many people start a match or import a league) in aggregate. This uses cookies or similar identifiers. No analytics data is sold.
Session replay: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is actually used, so we can find layout and tap-target problems. It records anonymised playbacks of page interactions (taps, scrolls, mouse movement) and builds aggregate heatmaps. Text you type into any field, along with numbers and email addresses, is masked before it leaves your browser, so we never see it. Recording is switched off for the lobby and the live match, and never starts at all if you arrive on a shared match link.
Accounts (paid): if you create an account, we store your email address, your saved leagues (team names, settings, match history), and your chosen vanity handle. Authentication is passwordless: we email you a one-time code.
When you import from Sleeper, Yahoo, or ESPN, we read only your league's team names to pre-fill the roster. We do not read or store rosters, scores, messages, or any other personal data from those platforms. Yahoo uses a one-tap OAuth sign-in that you can revoke at any time from your Yahoo account.
To run the app, save your leagues (paid accounts), email you sign-in codes and account notices, understand aggregate usage, and prevent abuse. We never sell your personal information.
We rely on a small number of processors: a database/auth provider to store accounts and saved leagues, an email provider to deliver one-time codes, an analytics provider, and (once live) a payment processor that handles your card details directly; we never see full card numbers.
Saved leagues persist for 365 days from your last paid term, then become read-only. You can delete any saved league at any time from My Leagues, and you can request full account deletion by email.
Play anonymously to share nothing. Delete saved leagues anytime. Use your browser's controls to block analytics cookies. Email us to access or delete your account data.
The service is intended for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Fantasy Draft Rumble generates a randomized draft order presented as a Draft Rumble. The result is produced by a seeded pseudo-random number generator and is intended for entertainment and as a fair, repeatable way to settle a draft order. It is not gambling and involves no wagering.
Core play is free forever. Paid plans (One League, Unlimited) add saved leagues, vanity URLs, and other features. Paid plans are billed as a one-time seasonal term (365 days) with no auto-renewal. Pricing is shown on the Plans page and may change for future terms.
All sales are final. Fantasy Draft Rumble is a digital product. The moment your payment goes through, your paid features are unlocked and available to use immediately. Because the product is delivered instantly and in full, purchases are non-refundable.
This means we do not provide refunds for, among other things:
Paid plans are a single, one-time seasonal term (365 days) with no auto-renewal. There is no recurring subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and no future charge to refund. When your term ends, paid features simply stop until you choose to buy another term.
Exceptions. We will review a refund where one is required by applicable law, or in the case of a clear billing error such as a duplicate charge or a charge you did not authorize, or a genuine technical failure on our side that prevented you from using what you paid for and that we were unable to resolve. To request a review, email ken@fantasydraftrumble.com within 14 days of the charge, from or referencing the email address used to purchase, and include the approximate date and amount.
Before disputing a charge, please contact us first. We are a small operation and will work with you to fix anything that genuinely went wrong. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended.
Accounts use passwordless one-time codes sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure and for activity under your account.
Don't abuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to break authentication or other users' data, no uploading unlawful or infringing content (including custom wrestler photos you don't have rights to), and no using the service to harass others. Specifically, do not upload images that contain nudity, sexually explicit material, hate speech, racist or discriminatory imagery, violence or gore, or any content that is illegal in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to remove any uploaded content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice.
You keep ownership of names and images you add. You grant us a limited license to display them within your matches and shared links. Custom face photos you upload are publicly accessible: anyone with the match link can view them. Do not upload images you don't have the rights to, or images you wouldn't want others to see. You're responsible for ensuring your uploads comply with the acceptable use policy above.
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Match results are random and for fun; we don't guarantee any particular outcome, uptime, or fitness for a specific purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fantasy Draft Rumble is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
You may stop using the service anytime and delete your data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the provider's home jurisdiction (of British Columbia, Canada). We'll post changes here with an updated date; continued use means you accept them.
